Growing up my parents were always hosting some sort of gathering. Mom would clean till you could eat off the floor and then place bowls of candy and nuts out for guests. Dad would tend to the yard, making the flowers and bushes look their very best. These fond memories have fostered my love for making beautiful spaces for memories to be made.

We started our business in the fall of 2018 with a styled shoot in the Alpine Country Club. I had so many ideas I had to set up two locations. That gives you an idea of how my mind works. It just doesn’t stop.  I know the name Steele Magnolias is common and maybe cheesy for those of you who know the movie Steel Magnolias. But I’ve loved it ever since I saw it in 1989 and after living in Texas and loving the Magnolia tree so intensely, we had to have it as our name. Besides, we are the Steele’s...

The hardest thing for me in this process has been trying to identify “my style” as people so commonly ask. I know in this industry there are florists and designers that have a specific style and clients seek them out for that  “look”. But I don’t define myself by one style or one vibe. I see beauty in all things and love to work with different textures, colors, and styles.

We strive to bring your unique vision to life and look forward to creating memories with all of our clients.
